My focus is on capturing the true you. Just as no two babies are the same and no two families are the same, my photo sessions are unique for everyone I meet. In my work, I want to let each individual’s personality show itself so I can highlight the distinct aspects that characterize each person. I believe posing for pictures should be fun and natural, so I have a very flexible and open approach to my sessions and I love creative photo shoots. When families and individuals see that they can relax at my sessions, their genuine personality comes out in silly smiles or pouting lips or loving glances. These moments cannot be forced, but they are the moments that capture the true you, the moments you want to keep forever.
The symbol incorporated into the logo is the koru. It’s the Maori name given to a new unfurling fern frond, symbolizing new beginnings, new growth, unleashed potential, renewal, and hope for the future. The inspiration found in that one new frond seeking light motivates me to try and capture the comparable moments in each person's life. I strive to highlight those same new beginnings and discoveries in both my art and my career as an educator.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and capture those unique moments that show the true you.
