"A Great Finisher, Amazing food.", An Eventective User from Atlantic, IA
Recently, I had a long business trip(10 days). I had been through Los Angeles(for a signing meeting with previous clients) and Atlanta for a negotiation. The trip was originally supposed to be only 6 days, between Los Angeles and Atlanta. However, as I was packing up from my first spot(Los Angeles) I read my email and my boss wanted me to go to Dallas for another recruiting pitch, this would be my second time in a year in Dallas. I called to a previous spot I had liked, but they were booked. So I called around and found Pappas Brothers Steakhouse. I asked about meeting spaces and they had some two that fit my size very well. The gentleman recommended one room over another for the view.
I booked the room and went to Atlanta. By the time I arrived in Dallas, I was missing home and mad at my boss, but when I went to Pappas, my mind changed. The servers were beyond friendly and the food smelled amazing. When I went to the room, it was nice and once the door was closed it was nice and quiet, but because of the window to the main dining room, you didn't feel isolated. My clients showed up, one of them commented on having never been there before and seemed pleasantly surprised.
Most business people will tell you, it is nice to have a quiet room, but there has to be something in the room to distract people, at least for a second. Staring at someone giving a presentation is boring. The window was a heaven sent gift.
I am normally not much for steak, even at steakhouses, because of how picky I am and how much I need a steak done rare(not medium rare, not lightly medium rare, but rare) and I(as well as almost everyone else in the meeting) ordered steak. To say I wish I could get delivery to Iowa where I live would be an understatement, without a doubt it was the best steak I had ever eaten, and it was actually rare!
Between the servers being friendly, fast and other than when they asked you something, darn near invisible, it was great. The servers walked away with almost $100 in tips, because of the service and because of the food.
For one not wanting to go, and two not being excited about steak, this was an amazing surprise. I had not expected such a nice end to my trip.

"great food", benan459496 from dallas
the pappas bros chains are always on point when it comes to quality of food and service, so their steakhouse is no exception. My family always comes to pappas bros when we have get-togethers because its one of the only restaurants we can all easily agree on because everyone loves it. their food is fresh and high quality and they have a good variety of items on their menu.
