Two options: I play a variety of instrumental music on the mountain dulcimers - both baritone and standard. Classical, country, bluegrass, old-time, celtic, r&r. I also sing classic old-time and old country songs. The mountain dulcimer is the ideal representation of the mountains, south, and traditional American music. It is a beautiful instrument, and when played well, is remarkably versatile. I have played before hundreds of hospital patients -- in their rooms....and on theater stages, radio stations, at weddings and funerals, for business conferences and parties. I love the music and it is an extraordinary instrument. I studied under the world's premiere dulcimer performer, David Schnaufer, for 11 years and played in his Nashville Dulcimer Quartet for the same amount of time. As for the vocals, I love to showcase the charming, classic Nashville tunes...old country (Hank Williams, Carter Family, etc). Vocals have been described as "sweet, pure tone" and the presentation as "classic and beautiful."
