My husband and I eat at Buckley's often, but we had never used their catering service until we held an anniversary celebration for my in-laws. The event took place last spring, and we chose Buckley's because it is one of his parent's favorite restaurants too. We ordered the service by calling Buckley's. Their menu is online, but they did not have an online ordering system. In terms of the menu selection, they offer many catering options. We invited about 50 people, so we ordered four main dishes (a chicken and rice dish, the Bourbon chicken, shrimp and grits and the smothered steak). We also ordered creamed spinach and a potato dish. The person on the phone helped us select the dishes, which I thought was excellent. At many places, you feel hurried when on the telephone, but I did not rushed at all with this employee. The food was delivered at the correct time, and the food was hot. The caterer helped us set up the dishes, and he was very friendly as well. The food was delicious. The only complaint we had was that the shrimp and grits was a bit drier than it usually is when you order it at the restaurant. The chicken dishes were definitely the stars of the night, as was the creamed spinach. I would use Buckley's again for catering. The price was reasonable and the food was great. We usually order barbecue for events like this, so the selection at Buckley's was a welcome change from our usual dinners.
