Michael Florist is a family owned business that has been around for generations. They offer pick-up and delivery of flowers. They are located at 1171 Mineral Spring Avenue, in North Providence, RI. They are located right off of Rt. 95, at the bottom of the exit. Just minutes from Providence, RI, but not the hassle of finding parking, like in Providence. Donna DiGregorio is the owner and acquired the business several years ago from her parents, Michael & Noreen Ciancaglini. The quality and freshness of the flowers are amazing. They last for weeks, when flowers that i've gotten from my local grocery market die within a few days. Their floral designs are something that you would see in a magazine. They aren't the traditional, boring, round floral arrangement. They use all types of exotic flowers, along with everyday roses, daisies, etc... Whether it's a special occasion, or just to say I love you, there is nothing like the quality of this florist. Donna went to floral design school, but also worked as a young adult with her dad and mom. She learned her business experience at a young age and has kept the business going even in this tough economy. I am always for giving my business to the small business owner. I think that there is more care and effort put into the customer's order, when you develop a personal relationship with the business owner. We contacted Michael Florist back 15 years ago when i got married. Sitting down with Donna to plan the wedding flowers was an enjoyable experience. You can tell that her heart and sole are in the business. She treats you like you've known her for years. I can't say enough about how beautiful and affordable our flower bouquets and arrangements were. The service we received from Micheal Florist was top notch!! I would highly recommend going there for any occasion!
