 7/18/2012 | | "Marriott Philadelphia - great value and spectacular service", An Eventective User from Philadelphia, PA | | Our wedding at the Marriott Philadelphia (Airport location) was truly a magical and memorable evening. I have only positive comments about the entire experience. When we were looking for a wedding reception location, we had a few important features that we were looking for: it needed to be a convenient location for all of our family and friends, it needed to include a spot to have the ceremony, and the food needed to be excellent. After a lot of searching and researching, we decided on the Marriott Philadelphia. It had everything we wanted, and much, much more! The wedding package was pretty standard and comparable to the other higher-end packages in Philadelphia, and the prices were similar as well. But I feel the value was above and beyond what we would have found at the other facilities we were considering. The staff was so incredibly professional and attentive to us during the entire process, we always had confidence that the day would go off without a hitch. The food was extraordinary, and our special requests to make modifications to the menus were met without any hesitation from the Chef. The ambiance of the ceremony space was truly special and the reception area provided us ample space to arrange our floorplan as necessary. Our photographer had no trouble finding perfect settings for our pictures, both indoors and outdoors. Our overnight guests were able to reserve at special rates and be located near to each other in the hotel, and we were able to arrange a special room for breakfast for our overnight guests the following morning. I would definitely recommend the Marriot Philadelphia to any couple looking for great value and spectacular service! |
