Supported Layouts and Capacities
I recently photographed a wedding at Tyee Wine Cellars just south of Corvallis, OR. This small, rustic vineyard provided an amazing setting for a late summer wedding. The ceremony was held under an enormous Oak tree that must have been a hundred years old. It towered above the whole gathering, providing beautiful natural shade for the modest gathering of friends and family, as well as the bride and groom. The background scenery was breathtaking, with rolling golden hills falling away behind a lush green orchard. A short stroll down an old farm road brought us to the Tyee buildings. Dinner was served in a beautiful open-air pavilion made from an old barn. This venue provided shade but let in the afternoon breeze and allowed a great view out onto a large meadow where the kids in attendance had plenty of room to play. The Tyee staff were friendly and accommodating, serving food and of course delicious Tyee wine made right behind the building where we ate. Once dinner was finished a band played on the permanent stage just outside the dining area. We danced in the meadow as the sun set over the orchard, and again the Tyee staff were helpful with readying and serving cake. We danced the night away on the beautiful lawn. During every part of the celebration, the vineyard setting only added to the joy and beauty of the celebration. Highly recommended.
