Best wedding venue for the price in NYC! - An Eventective User from New York, NY

My coworker had his wedding reception at this venue last fall. There were around 150 guests in attendance and there still was plenty of room to spare! The atmosphere was out of this world and he told me he paid a little under $10,000 for everything because they were very flexible with the price. The food was great, but I wish there were a little on our plates than what was provided. The staff were super friendly, though. And the views you get of the Hudson river are spectacular. It is definitely worth the price for a couple who is not looking to spend over $10,000 and still get luxury service!

Tribeca Rooftop - An Eventective User from Portland, Oregon

The catering here is WONDERFUL. Amazing sushi. Very high marks for the food. I also found that this venue was the perfect size for the wedding I attended; it can easily accommodate about 150 people. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they have a pretty killer rooftop space that just feels amazing at sunset. The views are truly breathtaking. The space itself is minimal and chic and the huge open bar was very well stocked. The space really made the wedding feel intimate even though there were well over a hundred people in attendance. Thankfully, the weather permitted the wedding to be an indoor/outdoor function which worked beautifully, but even if we had all been stuck inside the entire time, I feel like that would have been okay. We still would have had a fantastic time. That's just what Tribeca invites. The venue is unmarked and a little bit difficult to find the first time around, but once you do, it's worth it. The coat and bag check downstairs was super appreciated by all of the guests. I just can't say enough good things. Tribeca is a bit spendy, but worth every penny. All in all, this is a sexy, elegant, classy place for any big event and in my opinion, pretty much the ideal wedding venue.

IDEAL wedding venue - An Eventective User from New York, NY

This place was the most amazing spot to have a wedding. The place has a stellar rooftop view of Tribecca in NYC and is overall a beautiful venue. It has very cosmopolitan furniture, is a wide open space, has a beautiful wood dance floor, and was the best wedding I could ask for. I would recommend getting a good florist (Violette Mizrahi of "Ultraviolette" did our arrangements) to give the place an glamorous feel.

My Favorite NY Venue - An Eventective User from Esprit Events NY, NY

Saying that this is the top venue in NYC is really an understatement. The space is modern and fresh and the staff is so professional. Oleg really runs his kitchen team like an army of soldiers. This venue is more than accommodating when working with Kosher caterers and I would highly recommend them to any and all of my clients!

Amazing Venue at Tribeca Rooftop - An Eventective User from New York, NY

Woohoo! THIS IS as good as it gets! I had my wedding here and I couldn't ask for a better venue. From Tracey who helped us book this beautiful venue to the bartenders that poured drinks all night with a smile. This is a top notch venue. We searched throughout New York City (Lighthouse, Midtown Terrace and many more) for the perfect venue and landed at the Tribeca Rooftop. So far it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Nothing else compared. I had the wedding of my dreams. A HUGE shout out to the staff, Darryl (the GM) who was just the coolest guy. My girl Kadisha....what would I do without you! And George - You are the BEST. All my guests, were blown away by the food, location, views, and service. Everyone keeps talking about that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

Party on the Rooftop - An Eventective User from New York, NY

My girlfriend and I were here for their New Years Party, 20010 going into 2011, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Walking around the corner to the entrance we were greeted by a very discrete door, no signs, no big crowds, just a door and a coat check. After giving our tickets we were put on the elevator and taken to the top floor. The moment the doors opened up we knew we were in store for a great night. The hallway was candle lit and quite fancy. Once we made our way into the main room we were treated by an amazing array of food (the main reason we decided to go here to bring in the new year), great service from the bartenders and the rest of the staff, and great views of the Hudson. The food stations were never overly crowded, the sushi was made fresh, the hors d'oeuvres were brought out constantly, and the bars were stocked full with drinks made quickly. I think I spoiled myself though, this is the New Years party that I will now compare all others too

High Class Venue At Affordable Price - An Eventective User from Fresno, CA

I just had my wedding here last month. It's a perfect remedy for one who has reached the boiling point from making traveling arrangements to wedding destinations. The venue is absolutely gorgeous for an intimate, indoor/outdoor wedding. Offering a spectacular sunset view on a beautiful weather day, the rooftop offers fantastic photo opportunites of the Manhattan skyline, over the Hudson River, SoHo, and downtown area. As you descend the chic spolighted staircase, you enter into a dimly lit dining hall that oozes intimacy and relaxation. One small nitpick was the dance floor. It was on small side, and cannot accomodate a crowd of 40 people doing the Electric Slide! It was also located underneath the staircases, which led to some tables having their view obstructed during the toasts and first dance. While the venue is worth the 4-star treatment, the food was disappointing. The shrimp cocktail tasted like frozen shrimp without the right texture or flavor. The dumplings were also bland and forgettable, making one yearn for real dimsum in Chinatown. As for dinner, the crabcake appetizer was very salty dry. For the main course, the sirloin (over a bed of clunky/clotted mashed potatoes) was terribly overcooked. But then again, when no one was asked how they wanted their steak prepared, it would have been a miracle to make it right! The chilean seabass did salvage the dinner as it was perfectly cooked with brilliant flavors, melting in your mouth with every bite. Dessert offerings included the chocolate covered strawberries, which were a big hit, while the ice cream didn't really taste like ice cream. Nevertheless, all is forgiven given the extensive options at the bar. My favorite whiskeys (Glenlivet, Jameson, and Chivas Regal) were all available. The bartender was very attentive and accomodating to my rapid-firing requests that were bound to annoy anyone else. Every drink (even customized ones) were made with precision and perfect taste. Superb!A great experience if you forget the food.
