Supported Layouts and Capacities
Fat Baby is an awesome bar, club, and live rock music venue located in New York. The venue is located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, on the very busy Rivington Street (between Ludlow Street and Essex Street). I threw my birthday party at Fat Baby this year and the staff was nothing but helpful to me and my guests. You can reserve space in the bar area without having to pay the astronomical bottle service fees (upwards of $250) charged by similar clubs and bars in Manhattan. Without paying a dollar, I was able to reserve tables, and any friends who dropped my name at the door were able to cut the line. This was super helpful, as there are usually long lines outside these types of venues in Manhattan, and this venue is no exception. If you want to reserve space on the mezzanine, overlooking the dance floor area, you can do so by paying the bottle service fee. Fat Baby is always busy and attracts all sorts of people - you can go dressy, you can go casual, and either way you'll fit in. You can also hang out on different levels of the bar for different atmospheres. The basement is more of a grunge-y, live rock venue; the front bar is quieter, more of a place to sit and have a drink; the back bar has a DJ and dancing. Overall, Fat Baby is a great place to have an affordable party that feels like a true downtown New York experience.
