Dahesh Museum of Art, the only institution in the United States devoted to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting works by Europe's academically trained artists of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The Museum space was redesigned in 2003 by Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates LLP, the award-winning architectural firm best known for their renovations of great New York institutions like the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Radio City Music Hall, Bryant Park Café, and the BAM Rose Cinema. Occupying the first three floors of the iconic IBM skyscraper designed by Edward Larrabee Barnes in 1982, the Dahesh offers art, architecture, dining, and shopping in one extraordinary location, an unexpected oasis of 19th-century elegance at a 21st-century crossroads. This beautiful space evokes 19th-century salon interiors in a thoroughly modern way. Sumptuous fabrics, period seating, and dynamic architectural flourishes encourage visitors to cast their thoughts back more than a century. The 200 seat auditorium is the perfect site for lectures, shareholder meetings, and presentations; the art galleries are an ideal setting for private tours and white wine receptions; and Café Opaline and the Private Salon offer an elegant frame for dining and drinks overlooking Madison Avenue and the bamboo-filled Sculpture Garden.

The space was designed and custom built by Alexander and Brittany Love, making their surreal dream a reality. Almost every piece of furniture or lighting you see is an original design or restored and modified from it’s original form. The Love Shack is one large main space with several smaller spaces inside the human dollhouses. Perfect for small promotional events, cocktail parties, weddings, corporate, photo shoots and more. Unique loft conversion in up-and-coming Bushwick. Cute front garden space for smoking and sitting outdoors. The space has wifi and a fantastic sound system for parties.
