FUNCTION RENTAL GUIDELINES: **Setups & breakdowns are the responsibility of event holders. **A $200.00 damage deposit is required at contract signing. (Cash or valid credit card only-no personal checks) **Certificate of Event Insurance must be filed with The Windrifter no less than 7 days prior to event **Function to be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to event date (Cash or valid credit card only-no personal checks) **Upon inspection after function, damage deposits will be returned within 10 days. **Cleaning of space prior to function will be done by Windrifter. Space is to be left in "broom clean" condition to ensure return of damage deposit. **Rental fees do NOT include the use of Windrifter Staff or Resort amenities. **The Windrifter facility WILL BE locked promptly at 10:00PM. Cancellations: Thirty days (30) written notice of any decision to cancel an event is required. The client agrees to pay, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, the amounts listed in the chart below: Date of Decision to Cancel Amount Due 0 – 30 days prior Function Room—Entire $200.00 Damage Deposit or Function Payment forfeited 30 – 60 days prior Function Room—50% of Damage Deposit or Function Payment will be forfeited 60+ days prior Function Room—Full Damage Deposit or event payment will be refunded*. (*CC payments will be less $25 administrative processing fee) A damage deposit may be transferred to an event that is re-scheduled with 12 months of the original event. New date must be settled within 90 days after initial cancellation or damage deposit will be forfeited in its entirety.
