When choosing the venue for our wedding, my wife and I checked every local venue around before we settled on "The Loft". When we called to book the venue we had already talked to many other prospective event venues. We had become accustomed to bad attitudes and short answers but the staff at The Loft was the opposite. They were happy to take the time to answer all our questions in detail and even offered to give us a free tour of the facility so we could get let our imaginations take over. Set in a city loft with a beautiful view and rustic feel it's intoxicating upon entering. I've been to many many weddings but never been to a venue with so much character. Sure I may be biased since it was my wedding but seriously this place had more than charm. The hardwood floors and beautiful ceiling only made us more sure of the step we were about to take. Arnold the tour at the time was a genuine person and did everything he could without being over bearing. Probably the best thing ever about the LOFT is that they design each wedding or even to the specific taste of the quest so no matter what theme or feel you are going for with your wedding you can feel good knowing that not only can you have your dream wedding you can have it done well as well. When the big night came we had chosen our Classic Wedding theme coupled with an open bar. All my friends couldn't believe the quality of service they were receiving even for a wedding. Our bar tender "Davey" became the hit of the party when he named a drink after my wife! It's little experiences that made our wedding that special moment that everyone hopes for! Not only would I recommend the lofe but my sister and her fiance have chosen to get married their too. So if your ever getting hitched in Kansas City and are looking for a reasonably priced venue that exceeds your expectations the loft is the place for you! P.S. It was better than our honey moon!!!
I attended a wedding here and really enjoyed the venue. It's different. It has that loft feel to it with exposed bricks and ducts. The location is close to Power and Light which was nice for those going out afterward. The food was good as well. The staff was very friendly and the twinkle lights on the poles and on the ceiling were a fun touch
