 8/5/2011 | | "Everything and More!", An Eventective User from Troy/Traverse City | We hired Mike Staff Productions to do our DJ and Videography for our wedding and it was by far the best investment we made for our special day. I have been to my fair share of weddings in the past and it is the DJ who controls the mood and keeps the ""fun flow"" going. I would say two thirds of the receptions we have attended had below average or poor DJs that were hired to emcee the event. They would mess up names, stutter, sound like they had no idea what they were doing and play the wrong music at the wrong times.
With Mike Staff we went with John Ray as we felt he would be the best fit for our style and tastes. We gave him a short list of the must and must not songs to play and he accommodated to it perfectly. A few days prior to our wedding date he called us up and confirmed everything with us and made sure he had the pronunciation of everyones name perfectly. He went out of his way to make us feel at ease and comfortable which was great as anyone who has ever gotten married can tell you it can be one of the most stressful events of your life. We knew that with him manning the mic we could focus our attentions on other things instead of having another thing to worry about. |
