Walled Lake Outdoor Education Center, Commerce Township — The Walled Lake Outdoor Education Center is located in Commerce Township, MI. It is owned and operated by the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. The WLOEC is situated on 11 acres of school property which lies adjacent to the 3500 acres of the Proud Lake Recreation Area. Hiking trails, fishing, canoeing and cross country ski trails are all easily accessed from the center. The WLOEC is the perfect place for Corporate and School Staff Retreats. Our modern facilities include wireless technology, large screen projection units and several meeting spaces for breakout sessions. Our Adventure Challenge Course and Team Building Program offers the perfect compliment to the organizational work that our groups wish to accomplish.
