The Old State House, the oldest public building in Boston, was built in 1713 as the seat of colonial government in Massachusetts. The Old State House is an elegant and sophisticated venue for dinners, cocktail receptions and wedding receptions. The Old State House can also serve as a unique venue for your meeting or lecture. Up to 75 people can be accommodated for a seated dinner, lectutre or ceremony. Receptions spaced throughout the building may be as large as 150 people. The Old State House is located at the corner of State and Washington Streets in downtown Boston.
