Located in the gorgeous and fashionable South End, the brand new Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts is Boston's newest theatre facility. The complex houses the 360-seat proscenium Virginia Wimberly Theatre and the 200-seat Nancy and Edward Roberts Studio Theatre. Additionally the Pavilion has two large, modern rehearsal spaces which are perfect for cocktail receptions and other events.

While I may be able to accomodate the particular event request (asked for 400, I can accomodate 370), I am not prepared to pay for a lead only to find out that 400 is truly the minimum. As a non-profit theatre, I cannot afford to waste even $2.50 on a lead that may not pan out.

| The Roberts Studio is a sophisticated and flexible black-box style space. The seating can be arranged in a myriad of different formats or removed entirely making this a perfect space for both theatre and larger receptions and events. With an easily accessible lighting grid, this space can be transformed into an artistic environment tailored exactly to your event. The Calderwood has a spacious lobby area that is available to guests using any of our function spaces and green rooms and dressing rooms are also available. |
