Hibernian Hall is a versatile event venue offering a blend of the old, the new and the beautiful, creating a perfect venue for small to medium stage and dance productions. It is also an ideal venue for all occasions – weddings, receptions, award banquets, fundraisers, holiday parties, milestone celebrations, community meetings, civic engagement, memorials, lectures, business meetings, exhibitions and tradeshows.
From its 3rd floor setting, the historic grand ballroom has 3,600 square feet of useable space and retains its original architecture of 20-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring, window seats, and 10-foot arched windows that offer a panoramic view of Boston’s scenic skyline. Amenities include a contemporary yet warm color palette, a stage with Marley flooring, audio/visual and projection equipment, Wi-Fi, tables, chairs, lighting and electric shades that can be opened and closed with the touch of a button.
The Gallery, a more intimate space located across the hall from the ballroom, is ideal for artists’ showcases, private dinners, meetings, baby showers, and children’s parties. Its features include picture railing, a projector, Wi-Fi, white board, tables, chairs, and wall-to-wall carpeting.

| Hibernian Hall is "[y]our home for arts in the heart of Boston." Its historic ballroom was fully restored in 2005 and serves as Dudley Square’s most elegant performance and event venue.
A performance space by design, theatrical and dance productions, concerts, film screenings, and exhibitions, just to name a few, are held here.
Also available for private rentals, wedding ceremonies and receptions, milestone birthday celebrations (Sweet 16, Quinceañera, 30th, 40th, 50th….) anniversaries, fundraisers, fashion shows, banquets, baby showers, and religious ceremonies are among the many types of events private rental clients host here.
Seating capacity: theater in the round - 160 ppl; banquet seating – 200 ppl.; theater seating – 250 ppl.; standing reception – 360 ppl.
All rentals include: Staffing, Use of equipment; In-house sound system; Green room; Coat Room; Men’s/Women’s restrooms; On-site Parking (restrictions apply). Optional amenities: Theatrical lighting; projector; screen; commercial kitchen; off-site parking. Hibernian Hall is ADA compliant. |
