We are the only arboretum and botanical garden in the USA staffed entirely by volunteers. 375 dedicated individuals maintain the trees, plants and shrubs, and seed-gifts which are all labeled throughout the garden.
Featured Gardens include: Formal Rose Garden, Bausman Old Garden Roses, English Knot Garden, Formal English Garden, Herb Garden, McGreger's Children's Garden, Hosta Garden, Japanese Garden, Children's Flower and Vegetable Garden, Iowa State and All American Test Gardens, Annual and Perennial Gardens and Dwarf Conifers.
Recognized as the largest public hosta garden in US (13,000 plants with 700 varieties).
