University Conference Center Chicago - An Eventective User from Champaign, IL

I went to Chicago recently for a digital marketing conference and it was located at the University Center Conference Chicago and overall it was great. The location was one of the best parts; the Center is located in the South Loop of Chicago and is very close to restaurants, hotels, and State Street shopping. Since it is in the Loop, public transit is also very close to the venue which is great. The conference area itself was located on its own floor of the building and had many rooms that could be used individually or in unison with each other through the use of movable walls. Each room was clearly labeled so there was little risk of becoming lost within the venue. The staff made sure the coffee and water dispensers were full the entire time and put out a great spread of food and drinks for our networking portion of the conference. The decor of the venue was very nice; the walls were a great grey color and many rooms had great photographs of iconic Chicago buildings. Additionally, the rooms were clean and set up neatly and orderly. The area itself was not that big, so this would be best suited for small to medium sized events; larger events might want to be weary of the dimensions of the venue. If there are any questions about how many people each of their rooms can accommodate, their website is extremely easy to navigate and find information, and their staff was happy to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend University Center Conference Chicago for anyone looking to book a conference event in the Windy City.

Great venue for meetings! - An Eventective User from Chicago, IL

Recently, I received word that my company was going to hold our annual business meeting at the University Center in Chicago, IL. To be honest, I was not happy about this at first as we usually have them at very popular and nice hotel in downtown Chicago. Our usual spot has always given us good service and the rooms were all very nice. However, shortly after arriving to the center, my mind was completely changed. The University Center knocked whatever pre-conceived notions and concerns out of my head. They exceeded my expectations. First off, the rooms were huge! It was so much nicer to have that amount of space than being packed in tightly at our normal venue. Our company rented out two of the rooms available, which was more than plenty to accommodate all of us. The service was amazing and my boss even mentioned that they were a lot more affordable than our usual meeting spot. The staff was on top of it, there was not a crumbled up napkin on a table for more than few seconds before being discarded. The location was fantastic as it was so close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Not to mention, there was a bakery, convenience store and a bank all located right in the building! After our meeting, it was so easy to jump on the train to our hotels. Everyone at our meeting absolutely loved this place. It has already been established that from here on out, our annual meetings will be held at University Conference Center and I could not be happier about it. Can't wait to return next year!

Great place for small and large meetings - An Eventective User from Jefferson City, MO

My trip from Missouri to Chicago was a long drive and I wanted somewhere nice and comfortable to rest my poor head after such a long trip. I had meetings for the next three days at the University Center Conference Chicago but had decided previously not to rent a room in the expensive downtown area but changed my mind after arriving and rented a room with a private bath, both private and semi private baths were available. I spent an extra three days there after I receive a great room and service from the staff. We had the options of buffet style dining, continental breakfast was free and there were other choices you could have for meals. I loved being pampered like this and I didn't expect to enjoy myself this much even though my co workers who had been on previous trips for meetings gave it 5 thumbs up and recommended that I stay there because it is a very good value. I would recommend University Center Conference Chicago to any and everybody. I am planning a new trip for a personal vacation and will be staying there with my family this time, just without the meetings. There are accommodations for groups of all sizes and I will be renting an apartment style room this time around. For anyone planning a large or small meeting, a reception or anything where you need plenty of space and great customer service, this is the right place. I have always loved visiting Chicago and it will now become my vacation place. You will have all the amenities of home available for your use.

good meeting spaces - An Eventective User from chicago il

one of the best places that i have had a good experience with as far using a rented space for a conference center was with University Center conference of Chicago back when i worked for a company called Family focus services. We had very large convention come to Chicago and they held several financial empowerment seminars, which was the theme at the time. During our stay, we had an entire buffet set up for us, including cold cuts and hot food as well. They also had a very large video screen set up in order for us to view presentations and real time statistics. The entire convention lasted about 5 hours, and they also included stock market class registration, and an employment advisory service that assist people with getting jobs. We had a capacity of about four hundred people in attendance and we still had too much food left over and lots and lots of space still available lido banquets is the perfect conference center because it also has a vast number of spaces in all sizes according to the size and function of your conference or meeting. They had small conference rooms equipped with all of the latest video technology, with complementary lap tops built into the actual conference table. They also had video conferencing software installed on every television to communicate worldwide, and with other offices just within the building. I highly recommend University Center conference of Chicago to serve as the conference center for your meeting and convention needs. They have the space to accommodate you and your company in any way that fits your specific conferencing needs.
