|Douglasville, Georgia, which is 30 minutes west of Atlanta, has a large, nice, and recently renovated conference center in its historic downtown area. The 10,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 3,500 sq. ft. Ballroom with separate meeting space. Overall, it can seat as many as 325 people. Its staff will cater your event, set up chairs, and clean up after you. The facility is booked by Mrs. Jennifer Bean, who is awesome at her job and easy to work with. Douglasville is an affordable place to stay, as well, as it has numerous hotels and inexpensive restaurants, including a great Cajun place close to the DDCC. This venue and its staff gets top marks from me, as I have seen it used for multiple types of events because I used to work for the local newspaper.|
