The best meeting place I recommend is the Lido Beach Resort located in Sarasota, Florida. It is a beautiful venue for your next meeting or conference. All of the meeting rooms are located on the eighth floor of the hotel. I have been responsible for coordinating meetings for employers, and whenever possible I choose this site. They have meeting space to accommodate just a couple of people to hosting a full conference of 250 people. All of the conference rooms include internet. If your company is interested in team building activities, the Lido Beach Resort staff will also coordinate outdoor activities on the beach like beach volley ball, water balloon races, and other great events. The staff goes above and beyond to see that all your meeting requests are fulfilled from high tech internet help or electronic equipment assistance to providing you with extra pens! My favorite spot for a meeting of 30 to 40 people is the Sunset Terrace that overlooks Lido Beach. It is a great room if you are also going to be providing breakfast, lunch, or dinner where participants can enjoy the scenery while eating. Many times when looking out the windows of the Sunset Terrace, I have seen porpoises swim by. If you would prefer restaurant service during your event, the Lido Beach Grille is located on the same floor as the meeting rooms. The view from the restaurant overlooks the beautiful city of Sarasota. After your meeting, you can relax at the tiki bar located next to the pool and private beach area. If your meeting last several days, there are beautiful hotel rooms available on site.
