My event planning service includes Weddings, Private and Corporate Parties, Quinceaneras and Tours. I have been a Santa Barbara resident for over forty years and have been a planner for thirty years. I know the area, the venues and the vendors, and I love helping others make their event plans a reality!

| All phases of the event from planning to execution and post-production.As the event planner, I will co-ordinate everything - the budget, contracts with the venue and vendors and will oversee the installations and manage the event from start to finish. |
A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required at the time of signing the contract for services. Parties with estimated budgets of $75,000.00+ are charged 5% of the budget, in addition to the per head amount.The balance is due in three incremental payments throughout the event preparations and will be billed at the end of the last month of service. Final payment is due the week of the event and can be made by check, money order, PayPal or in cash.

| Event planner as consultant only - no execution of plans. But, for the busy person or, the long-distance client, this payment plan is perfect! It offers a single hour of service or ongoing support throughout the event. Communication is in person, through the phone, email or texting and the information gathered will help the client make informed and effective decisions and plans about their event one time, or along the way. There is also a flat rate for consultation, in the event that there is only a need for help with the initial planning, rather than ongoing consultation throughout the event. Please see Package # 1 for this. |
| This is an hourly rate. An initial non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to begin service. Payment is billed every two weeks and is due at the end of each month. Payments can be made in cash, check, PayPal or money order. |

| After all the excitement of a party or wedding, everyone is exhausted and ready to quit! Having an able-bodied and responsible person or team of people to help make sure things are broken-down, completed and finalized properly, is essential for a client's happiness and peace of mind. When contracts are fulfilled properly, guests have returned home safely, gifts are delivered to their proper place, thank you gifts and payments are distributed correctly, it is easier for the clients to get away on their honeymoon, or rest and enjoy themselves knowing that it is all under control. |
| A non-refundable $60.00 deposit is required at the time of signing the contract for services. The balance is due at the end of the service and will be billed at the end of the last month of service. Payment is due within thirty days of billing and can be made by check, money order, PayPal or in cash. |

| PACKAGE # I. CONSULTATION and PLANNING:: For the busy person or, the long-distance client, this package is the perfect fit! It offers twelve hours of research and packaging of valuable information that cannot be accessed except in the location of the event and/or with the experience of a local planner. Communication is unlimited and in person, through the phone, email or texting and the information gathered will help the client make informed and effective decisions and plans about their event. We will custom plan your event including creating a vendor and venue list, review contracts, give help with etiquette guidance, create timelines for vendors, create a diagram of the seating and floor plan, help with decor and aesthetic design, create a checklist of "to-do's" and gather information to comparison shop. This is a research and develop package only, no execution of plans is involved beyond the initial planning and consultation stage of the event, prior to execution. There is also an hourly rate for consultation, in the event that there is a need for ongoing consultation and support throughout the event. Please see Package #6 for this. |

| The week/month of includes execution of all last-minute activities such as floor plans, set-ups and timing, confirming vendors, troubleshooting problems, coordinating the rehearsal dinner, day-of activities, the transportation and lodging of family and guests, picking up gifts, attire, confirming all reception and honeymoon plans and assistance with vendor installations on the day of as well as post production follow-ups. It also includes day-of if the couple would like. |
| A non-refundable $240.00 deposit is required at the time of signing the contract for services. Final payment is due the week of the event and can be made by check, money order, PayPal or in cash. |

| The month of includes execution of all last-month activities such as floor plans, creating a final timeline and budget, scheduling the rehearsal dinner, licensing for the ceremony and final vows created, confirming vendors, coordinating the week-of and day-of activities, scheduling final meetings, programs, itineraries, menu's, seating arrangements, contract details and post-day-of activities. |

We contacted Alexandra through Eventective and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. At our initial meeting, she was on time, friendly, and provided us with a number of useful resources. She even offered to show us around the city to tour some of the wedding venues she thought would work for us. Alexandra's fees are very reasonable and she is organized and thoughtful with her work. She offered us a number of options for her services and put no pressure on us to to pick any specific package. Alexandra was diligent and followed through with deadlines and was helpful with keeping us on track for our big day. We enjoyed having her being such a wonderful part of our wedding experience and would recommend her to anyone!! |
|  2/28/2013 | | "Detailed and Enjoyable to Work With", An Eventective User from Goleta | Alexandra from Alexandra King Designs was my full-time wedding planner for my wedding in 2013. Initially my fiancé and I were overwhelmed by the numerous options and challenges of having a wedding in Santa Barbara. Going to school at the same time didn't make it easier it easier on me. I can't imagine planning it without her.
She is amazing. Without her I couldn't have found the site of our wedding location. She even knew about locations not listed in the standard wedding listings booklet! My fiancé and I loved one of her recommendations and chose it as our wedding venue.
I wanted an elegant wedding, and a fusion wedding that displays the traditional aspects of the two different Persian and Hindu cultures that our families come from. Planning a wedding, or in this case a bit more than one wedding :-) isn't easy and seemed daunting for our pocket books. But Alexandra made it happen :-)
She helped us save costs by providing a detailed estimate of what various vendors had to offer, and gave us clever tips to help us meet our budget. Alexandra didn't just stop at local vendors. Since music is important to both our friends and families, we wanted a DJ that would understand our music. But this seemed challenging. So, Initially I thought that one of us would have to give up for the other. Alexandra, bless her heart, for several months searched far and wide to find an awesome group that my fiancé and I would want to play at our wedding. I still can't believe we found a DJ that knows both our music.
Alexandra is a wonderful person to work with and very affordable. I appreciate her level of detail and her genuine concern for our well-being and our vision for our wedding day.
