 8/14/2011 | | "Great Location- The Westmont College Conference Center", An Eventective User from Sacramento, CA | | When my company decided to do it's annual conference in Santa Barbara, California, I was a little bit worried about the money this would cost us, especially in this economy. After I voiced my concerns I was then appointed to the “funding committee†for this event. We rented out the conference center at Westmont College at a rather affordable price and began to plan our event. Planning went well and when we got to the conference everyone was so happy that we decided to have it in such a nice place for once. The conference center is located in a college, however it is a small religious college so it was very clean and quiet. The conference center was large and well lit with rather good acoustics which helped to make sure that all of the spears at the event were heard. The staff at the college had already set up the room to our specifications, which was nice because I'm used to having the staff setting up while we're trying to set up at the same time! The staff who helped organize the event put together a few outings for the attendees of the conference so that they could take advantage of the amazing Santa Barbara weather and landscape. Nearby wine tasting trips were an absolute hit, in addition to trips to the mission and other fun sites. Overall it was a great conference and the Westomont College conference center was a great venue for this without spending too much. Our guests had a great time and we are hoping to have another conference here in the future. |

| Kerrwood Lawn is a beautifully manicured space set amidst the stately backdrop of Kerrwood Hall. Located in the center of the circular driveway of the original estate, this lawn is one of the first sites you encounter as you drive in through the main campus entrance. Surrounded by stately trees and plant life, this sprawling lawn still feels intimate. Romantic garden pathways are just steps from the lawn and provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs. |

| Magnolia Lawn consists of two verdant lawns with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. Just steps from the campus Scent Garden, soft aromas of rose, citrus, and lavender often drift through this area. This open space located below the Kerrwood terrace is in a central campus location that is both beautiful and convenient. |

| Voskuyl Prayer Chapel is a tranquil location hidden in the heart of the campus, ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies. Winding pathways lead you through the beautifully manicured Davis Formal Gardens where through a beautiful series of trellises, you can glimpse the picturesque white chapel surrounded by lush vegetation.
