The Mexican Museum is in the process of moving to Yerba Buena Gardens. When it reopens, it will house a unique collection of over 12,000 spectacular objects representing thousands of years of Mexican history and culture within the Americas. The permanent collection will include five collecting areas: Pre-Conquest; Colonial; Popular; Modern and Contemporary Mexican and Latino; and Chicano Art.
