We had an 80th birthday party for approx 80 guests. Sit down dinner and dancing. The event was held in SanDiego, it planned from Florida.Firstly, the Handlery is centrally located in San Diego and very easy to get to. Maddy the catering manager is knowledgeable and made the whole process very easy. Our first contact was a nice letter with a fact sheet and catering menu attached. From day one I knew what to expect from the hotel, which made it easy form me to plan food, centerpieces, dancing, slide show etc. She was accommodating and when I arrived was there to greet me and supervise that everything went smoothly. She made suggestions that were on pointe for what I needed and was able to guide me thru, she was able to show me the venue so that I could visualize the party. The evening went off smoothly and everyone especially the celebrant was happy. I was grateful. I would recommend venue.
