About Fogo de Chão San Diego
For entertaining, Fogo de Chao offers a unique and refreshing alternative to a standard 3 or 4-course plated meal. Founded in 1979 in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil, the internationally-acclaimed steakhouse now shares the centuries-old cooking technique of churrasco with guests in the states, including right here in San Diego.
Our Market Table includes seasonal loose leaf and freshly prepared salads, exotic fruits and vegetables in abundance, along with imported cheeses and charcuterie. The Daily Menu features a minimum of 12 select cuts of fire-roasted meats, including steak, lamb, pork and chicken. And there’s no need to narrow your entrée selections due to group size - all are served continuously until your guests ask our charismatic Gaucho chefs to STOP.
Tiered menu packages are available – beginning with our Fogo Experience plus beverages and desserts, and progressing to increasingly rich enhancements, up to and including 2 and 3-hour premium hosted bars. Menu options are also available to accommodate Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets, as well as a seafood alternative for non-meat eaters who aren’t quite Vegetarian.
With full bar service, Fogo can help jumpstart any event with a refreshing and festive Welcome Drink, to include our signature Caipirinha in 1 of 6 flavors, Guava do Sol, or Superfruit Lemonade - and that’s just for starters. We also offer imported and craft brews, as well as a comprehensive list of domestic, European and South American wines.
For San Diego conference attendees, Fogo de Chao is located exactly one-half mile – by foot or by car - from the San Diego Convention Center, and even closer to many downtown area hotels. For local corporate groups, we offer convenient onsite valet parking, in addition to the economical, covered self-parking located immediately across the street.
With respect to group dining space, Fogo San Diego boasts 5 private dining rooms, accommodating parties of between 10 and 125. Or, for a more casual gathering, our attractive and well-appointed bar and patio are perfect for a company Happy Hour. Reservations for smaller groups are almost always available in our interactive main dining room, and Fogo welcomes buy-outs for as many as 325 seated.
For groups with presentation needs, we offer HD-TV’s with VGA or HDMI connection cables, slide advancer and microphone. We also have ceiling-mounted projection screens in all rooms. In-house audio-visual equipment is provided without charge.
