The Castle Green opened in 1899 as the second of three buildings in the Hotel Green complex. A lavish resort of its time, Castle Green was and remains a unique landmark. Today, Castle Green serves as the ideal location for your wedding or special celebration. We provide sophistication that meets history in an eclectic mix of mystery and beauty. Castle Green’s public rooms and gardens are available for parties, weddings, receptions, corporate meetings and reunions. The Palm Terrace Ballroom will accommodate 425 guests for a cocktail party or a dance or 220 for a sit down dinner. The entire first floor will accommodate 500 people. The cozy Sunroom is the perfect place to meet just a few friends.

If you're in Southern California, you should definitely check out the historical Castle Green in Pasadena. Built in 1898 as a premiere hotel, Castle Green is now home to a few residents, but more famously known for it's appearance in numerous movies and commercials, and more intimately as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area.
With a wonderful front lawn, intimate reception lobbies, and a ballroom that serves as both a dining room and dance floor, Castle Green has a variety of choices available to the bride and groom. You can also choose to have your reception dinner outside and they will lay down a dance floor on the front lawn.
Catering is available from your choice of 5 different exclusive catering companies, and average $65 - $70 per person. Coat check areas are available, as well as a variety of places that you can set up a bar so that your guests can mingle.
Prices vary depending on what day you choose to host your wedding, and prices are an exceptional bargain ranging from $3,500 to just under $6,000. All events include a 10 hour window that allows for setup and photos, the actual wedding ceremony and reception, and time reserved for cleanup.

|When I first heard about Castle Green, I was really surprised it was even out there. When I came for a tour, I immediately fell in love with its authentic beauty. Sean & I had the most wonderful event here, the weather was perfect, and our photos were amazing. There are, like, 3 different settings to have your guests party in and are amazing for photos. Everyone at my event so honored to be invited to such an elegant event at the Castle Green. We used Dickenson West as our caterer as well -- who had the best food in the world -- even better than their tasting -- and very good looking gentlemen serving hehe... |
