"Different wedding location", An Eventective User from Mississauga
We wanted something less than traditional for our ceremony location. We decided to go with Black Creek Pioneer Village, for an older style.

The appeal of Black Creek was that it was unique, historical, and just gorgeous. Very well taken care of.

We had originally booked the Victoria Green garden, which is a big, lush, private, secluded, open, green space to hold your ceremony. They allow you to also book a back up indoor location in case of bad weather (which is what ended up happening to us). Most people, I'm told, end up booking the "church" location, but we found it a bit too closed off. We adored the Town Hall. It's open, and very cute. It doesn't hold as many people as the church does, but our ceremony was short enough that people were fine with the seating. It's very intimate and you do not need microphones to hear the vows or the officiant.

If I could do it again, I would definitely book Black Creek, but I still would have preferred to have the garden wedding instead of indoors. Unfortunately, it was raining on our wedding day.
