About J. Erik Jonsson Center
Located on Cape Cod in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, this conference facility overlooks Quissett Harbor and Buzzards Bay. Owned by the National Academy of Sciences and managed by the Marine Biological Laboratory. The Jonsson Center is available for conferences and meetings on a year-round basis. The main house, Hackerman House, is a large Cape Cod home and consists of three floors with meeting rooms, offices, public and food service areas. The first floor contains the lobby, one large parlor/living room, dinning room service area, dining porch, sun porch, food service area and the kitchen. The second floor is comprised of two large meeting rooms, four smaller offices or meeting rooms, and administrative offices. The third floor consists of two smaller conference rooms and five office size rooms. Located one hundred yards east of the main house, the Clark Carriage House contains a large conference room with supporting pre-function spaces, restrooms and facility maintenance areas.
