About Gibson House Yolo County Historical Museum

Celebrate your special event in a Victorian setting on the park-like grounds of the the Renaissance Revival Gibson Mansion/Yolo County Historical Museum, featuring shady lawns beneath oak and olive trees. The Victorian Gibson Mansion and adjoining patio is surrounded by perennial flower gardens, green lawns, trees and an olive orchard. This is partially shaded by a 250-year-old Valley Oak. The house is surrounded with towering trees, historical plantings and groomed lawn. Convenient free parking is available. The park is open during regular museum hours for picnicking. The grounds are available, on a fee basis, for weddings, receptions, family reunions and other group activities. Note - the grounds but not the Museum are available for rent.
