Okay so he's got skills, he's fast, pretty much did everything I told him to and then some. Found Seb through a craigslist ad for anniversary parties and the price was right but didnt expect much because its craigslist. He helped us pick out the wine, arranged the delivery for the liquor order and showed us where to buy everything so he saved us almost three hundred dollars so that basically paid his wage. Never seen anyone do that. Got a lot of compliments from everyone at the party, he does have a sense of humor so that was bonus. But yeah, I'll vouch for him. I'm pleased to offer a recommendation of the services offered by Sebastian, considering the fine job he did last night. Courteous without condescending and a profound knowledge of his trade would summarize my experience. This recent spate of snowy weather resulted in a cancellation of the other company we had hired. I should note that I provided them with a deposit and complete assurances that they would arrive on time, much to my chagrin. This was at 3 o'clock. Our dinner guests were to arrive at 6 o'clock sharp, a group of 25. A bit of stress, to be sure. I imagined that I would have to be pouring drinks or discourteously telling my friends to pour their own like some college frat party. When I called upon Sebastian, he was in the midst of managing another event Downtown Vancouver. Perhaps he heard the subdued panic in my request. Regardless, he mentioned that he would delegate his responsibilities to his assistant manager and proceed directly to our event. This was at 4 pm. 45 minutes later, Sebastian was at our door. Formally dressed, a full bar set-up, a firm handshake. He set about staging the bar area, offering the best wine pairing for our entree, quickly assessed the best cocktail menu with concise questions about our guests. During the course of the evening he served without intrusion, mindful of needs before any of my friends and family said anything. To summarize, Sebastian is a professional. When it came time to compensate him for services rendered, his tally was done at a very reasonable, standard rate.
