About David Morrow Music

David Solomon Morrow is a native of Clearwater, Florida but has lived in many states and other countries - Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, California, New Mexico, Japan, Bahrain, and Central America. As you probably have guessed he is a military brat, who also did some time in the Navy himself. David's time in the Navy took him all over the world and gave him a great perspective on our influences abroad, and has made him a proud Voting American! Upon entering the 6th grade, David had to take a test to get into the band (Atlanta area) and he did not do so well. David went home crying and explained to his father he wanted to be in the band and play the tuba. David's father persuaded the school to give him a chance, and they did! David's father then explained to David that he could not afford to buy him a tuba and he should consider the saxophone. At first glance David thought it would be too difficult with all the keys on the saxophone vs only three on the tuba. Long story short David went from beginning band to advanced band in one year. When David entered the 7th grade in Augusta,Ga he had his first urge to perform. He took his saxophone out to recess and just started blowing the ''Swing Sheppard Blues". David has been performing every chance he's gotten since that day! David is not just a Saxophonist, he is a "Performing" Saxophonist, who is not confined to the stage. David is a showman who can dazzle your guests personally! David currently performs with Permanent Vacation Band (Rock, Shag, & Request), The First Class Band, Ross Brown Ent (Motown Tribute), Rich Hippey Band, and has perfomed with Violinist Daniel D, Beyond The Rhythm Band (R&B, Jazz, & Variety), Carrie McDowell, Ann Caldwell, Liquid Pleasure Show Band, Tony Howard Show Band, Calvin Taylor, East Port Party Band, Ocean Drive Party Band (Beach, Shag, & Variety), Shades of Plenty, David Matthews Tribute Band, and was once a member of A Touch of Class Band (Legacy) , Sequence 8 and Secrets of Augusta, Ga, Fire of Statesboro, Ga, and many others.
