I recently attended a wedding at the Mahaffey theater in St. Petersburg, FL. There is ample free parking for guests, although there was nothing happening besides the wedding at the theater so this may not always be the case. The location was easily accessible for people with wheelchairs, including an elevator inside. It could be a long walk for people with canes or walkers. The ceremony was outside in a courtyard on the theater grounds. It was overlooking a breathtaking view of the water where there were sailboats and dolphins gliding around. A flowered arbor was set up for the bride and groom to be married under and white chairs were set out for the guests. There is a long walkway for the bride to make a grand entrance, which was very nice. I can't think of a more beautiful place to be married. Afterward, the cocktail hour was located outside of the ballroom, indoors. It was overlooking the lower part of the theater and a beautiful window view of the bay. There was room for small tables and appetizer stations and a bar. It was easy for all of the guests to move around and mingle. When it was time for the reception, we were led into a lovely ballroom. It was elegantly decorated and the tables were spaced nicely to allow people to move about the room. There was room for the DJ to be set up near the dance floor. The dance floor was medium small but there was plenty of room for the people who wanted to dance. Everything was set up beautifully. If you are having a buffet, there is a hall area outside of the ballroom where it can be set up. It was nice because it was close, but kept the food line and traffic out of sight. This was a great choice for a wedding.
