Historic Wheatland Farm in Purcellville, Virginia is one of the state's oldest, continuously operating farm. Founded in 1741 by Irish Quakers on land gifted by George Washington, Wheatland Farm has continued to be a place of welcome for visitors for more than 270 years. Today it is home to Wheatland Farm Equestrian Center, a USEF/USPEA Center of Excellence for our US Paralympic and Olympic athletes, and the Faith & Family Foundation, which offers a wide array of services for children and adults with disabilities. Wheatland Farm also features a stunning Great Barn Event Center, at which just a small number of select weddings are hosted annually. Brides and grooms can enjoy this magnificent and historic facility, while contributing to the success of this outstanding charity that supports US paralympic athletes and people with disabilities. The Great Barn Event Center includes tables and chairs for 100 guests, magnificent Italian glass chandeliers, incomparable views of Western Loudoun County, all set in our 4,000 sq ft. 218 year old barn.
