By hosting an event at the PMA, you treat your guests to a distinct environment, rich with fine art and iconic architecture, while supporting the museum's efforts to offer world-class exhibitions and educational programs to the Maine community and beyond. We offer the ability to rent museum facilities for private functions exclusively to non-profits, Director's Circle members and Corporate members at the Corporate Friend level and above. Our spaces, from the extraordinary Selma Wolf Black Great Hall to the stately McLellan House to the intimate Glass Gallery, will provide a extraordinary setting for your function, party, or event.
We regret that the PMA is unavailable for: events for minors (including children’s birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, or proms), wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, fundraising events, and religious programs.

The Glass Gallery, located on the Museum’s lower ground floor, displays objects from the Museum’s extensive glass and ceramics collection and provides a sparkling background for dinners or receptions. The Glass Gallery is ideal for a coffee break or evening reception in conjunction with a lecture or program in the Auditorium.

The Woodlands Club in Falmouth is family-oriented, private club open year-round, offering a beautiful banquet venue to members and non-members alike. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Portland, our ample ballroom space and covered patio features fantastic views of the golf course.
