Nice Meeting place and hotel, An Eventective User from Irvine, California

I accompanied my husband to Phoenix in February 2012 for an annual sales meeting with his company. The place that the meeting was booked at was the Crown Plaza Hotel in Phoenix and we were very pleased with our experience there. My husband was very happy with the size of the meeting room and the quality of the furniture in the room. The meeting area also provided many outlets that were used for lap top chargers. One downside to the meeting area that my husband told me was that they experienced some internet connection problems every so often. Although this may not seem so bad, there were a lost connection during a very important conference webcam call. The hotel itself was very nice and accommodating as well. We booked a room at the Crown Plaza so that we would not have to drive to the meeting venue. The front desk staff was very helpful and very friendly as well. The meeting space itself was easy to find and only a short walk from our room. The meeting was on Thursday afternoon and my husband and I stayed through Sunday at the hotel. The person in charge of planning the meeting was given many brochures of the local dining and excursions that were available. I also was able to speak with the front desk manager to see what else was around. I was very pleased with the overall quality of the hotel and of what my husband reported of the meeting area.

Crowne Plaza Phoenix Pleases!, An Eventective User from Anthem, AZ

I would recommend the facilities at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Phoenix - we have had more than one event at this property and, while my review would focus on the most recent experience, all of my experiences at the hotel have been top-notch. The hotel certainly is a beautiful property and is located with easy access to highways and recreational spots. Because we were visiting for a work day conference, I am not able to speak to the amenities or services available to overnight guests , the property does have two pools (one indoor and one outdoor) and a restaurant. All of the property was clean and well appointed, parking was ample and signage was easy to follow , often at properties with larger conference facilities I have found a map can be needed to navigate from one meeting room to another, but at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Phoenix this wasn't the case at all. Our meeting room was large, we had about fifty associates at the meeting that day and the space easily could have accommodated twice as many. It did seem like the ceilings were a bit low in the space, but it was well-lit and didn't feel crowded. There was no sound system available for the speaker during the morning, but it was added on after the morning break and setup quickly by an on-site audio visual technician while the attendees were out of the room enjoying refreshments. The luncheon portion of the day was held in a separate space , the luncheon was served buffet style and it was a nice touch to have the catering staff serving the buffet to our guests. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend the Crown Plaza Hotel in Phoenix, and look forward to the next occasion when I can enjoy their services again.
