The first Arizona location of the Bluewater family of sustainable seafood restaurants, Bluewater Grill Phoenix in the Camelback Corridor is located on the site of Phoenix’s former Fish Market and, prior to that, Victoria’s Station.
Like the original in Newport Beach, the popular restaurant enjoys a decades-old reputation as a destination for great food and spirits. Lunch, brunch and dinner menus printed regularly feature more than 40 varieties of fresh seafood and shellfish annually. Other highlights include private event facilities, an oyster bar, traditional sushi bar, kid’s menu, patio dining, full bar with wine list and weekday happy hours.
The Bluewater Grill Seafood Market sells fresh seasonal seafood and shellfish by the pound to cook at home, plus prepared meals, takeout specialties and signature salads.
Bluewater Grill Phoenix also hosts a series of monthly seafood tasting and wine-pairing events on the second Tuesday of every month. These popular celebrations give local seafood fans the chance to learn about the latest fish varieties, and meal-planning, preparation and serving techniques right from the experts.
Bluewater Grill is also known for working directly with fisherman to serve the absolute-freshest seafood and shellfish certified for sustainability by the Aquarium of the Pacific, Monterey Bay Aquarium and Marine Stewardship Council. The restaurant is one of the only in Arizona to operate its own fishing vessel, The Pilikia, to increase its sustainable harvest of swordfish and other local delicacies.
Because of these efforts, more than 90 percent of the seafood and shellfish on the menu is sustainably caught or farmed – among the highest of any seafood restaurant in the West.
Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday, 11am to 10pm; Friday and Saturday 11am to 11pm; and Sunday, 10am to 10pm.
