The Main Street Event Center hosts a wide variety of events including wedding receptions & rehearsals, catered dinners, corporate events, birthday parties, banquets, reunions, baby showers, college date parties, dance parties, family gatherings, bands, school dances, holiday parties, trade fairs, photography & art exhibits, film showings, dramatic productions, teen parties, quinceaneras, wedding showers, children's parties and much more! We are a unique facility that is locally operated and we pledge to work closely with you to help make your event a success. We have selected experienced food caterers for our facility. Unlike many other venues who require you to purchase their food at expensive rates, we will also allow you to bring in your own outside caterer to provide your food for a nominal charge per person for private events. We also have over 75 different food platters, 10 choices of $15 buffet meals, and a variety of appetizer options for those on a budget. We allow smoking/vaping on the property outside on the patio, plus we have 2 dressing areas for each member of the wedding party for weddings performed at the venue. Special guests, bands and DJs performing at the venue can also have access to a VIP area with a private separate entrance. We have a full bar at the facility and an in-house DJ Service, T-Bird Mobile Music, with over 15 years of experience. You'll enjoy a spacious open feeling with the Main Street Event Center, and there are no other events next door with sound resonating into your space which is often the case with impersonal hotel banquet rooms utilizing temporary walls and thin partitions. We have a large raised 12 x 24 foot stage with a state of the art sound and lighting for bands, multiple DJs, wedding ceremonies, or theatrical productions. We have assembled a database of recommended professional caterers, photographers, videographers, photobooth providers, casino night companies, bakers, confectioners, and cake preparers who are familiar with the facility. Sharing this information with you, through our staff, will save you time and money. Our street side covered patio can be utilized for cocktail receptions, a food truck, outdoor performer, or smoking & vaping. The Main Street Room can accommodate 60 persons seated or 100 standing, and the adjoining Downtown Ballroom with its high 15 foot ceilings, string Edison decorative lighting, and chandelier provides seating for up to 220 at round tables. The entire facility holds up to 350 for large dance parties and similar events. The facility can be partitioned off into 20 - 10’ x 10’ booths for trade fairs and exhibitions.
