The old adobe house was built in 1847 by David Wight as a home for his wife and daughter. The home was based on Wight's ancestral home in Ayton, Scotland. The beautiful home and flowering gardens are used as a backdrop for weddings, receptions, parties, business functions and other special events. Funds received go toward educational and charitable purposes for improving the community through the leadership of trained volunteers.
