Slow Fish, which is located on Wilshire in Los Angeles, is an excellent meeting place in the Los Angeles Metro Area. As part of the "slow food" movement, the restaurant is by nature a great candidate for a place to hold a meeting or a conference. "Slow food" refers to more than just cooking, it is a mantra help up by values that have been lost in a fast paced world of fast food. In contrast, "slow food" tries to bring professionals a place to go for lunch, on a meeting or just for fun, where there is quality food at a fair price and a fantastic atmosphere. Slow Fish embodies these principles. If one chooses to have a lunch meeting, one can choose their lunch specials (from noon until two,) which are appropriately portioned pieces of gourmet styled foods under $15 a plate. These same meals will cost more on non-special hours, but are just as succulent during their most busy hours, as the restaurant caters to professionals. If an individual or a group seeks to have a more private meeting, coming in during their slow hours can provide a place to lounge for long meetings and eat great foods at a reasonable price. On the other hand, for busier individuals, the lunch specials or happy hours (from five until seven in the afternoon) are an even better deal. It is a rarity to find a great restaurant for a reasonable price, and even more so if one desires privacy and a quiet environment. However, Slow Fish is the gem that may help close deals and hold successful meetings.
