Radish & Rose was recommended to me when I decided to try something new for our Monday/Wednesday catered lunches for our office of 50. I will keep it brief and to the point, it was just as delicious as I'd heard but there were factors just as important as the taste that I feel they should be commended for as a business: Ariana was the person I spoke to when I called. When I told her the menu was a bit much and I wanted some suggestions quickly she not only did it but had it to me when she said she would. For someone like me on limited time I can't speak enough about how important that is. -The delivery was ON TIME, if not five minutes early AND with our metered pain-in-the-butt parking in front. Are you kidding me? BONUS! -The setup and extra little touches impressed everyone in this office and we have seen ten years of catered lunches. It's the small stuff that matters which is why I wanted to write this review. We had ENGINEERS taking photos of the table. Not foodies! I can't wait to use them again and for my next big event. Thank you Ariana for a job well done!
My husband and I hired Radish & Rose to cater our wedding a few weeks ago, they went above and beyond our expectations (which were already very high). It was very easy to communicate with Ariana from the beginning and she was very patient as we worked out the details of our wedding. She was also very understanding of our budget, which can be rare in the wedding industry. We were able to meet both Ariana and Chef Bianca, for a tasting and the food was even better than we imagined. Everyone at Radish and Rose was incredibly down to earth and we enjoyed chatting with them as we enjoyed all of their delectable samples. As someone that loves food, I can honestly say that Radish & Rose is superlative. The day of the wedding was just magical, the tabes and buffet we so beautiful. Everything is just as I had imagined and everything was done with such care, I’m starting to cry just thinking about that day! Our guests are still raving about it and I have a feeling they will be for years to come.
We love the Radish & Rose team 100 times more after the wedding then before if it’s even possible. 1st - I spent zero time on my wedding day stressed about how the venue setup was coming along and was able to enjoy time with my ladies getting dolled up. Amanda my event specialist was always available when we needed and constantly reassured up until the moment the event started. 2nd - We went with an unconventional wedding with food stations, limited seating & a funky layout. They transformed the space into an ethereal wonderland. 3rd - the food! OMG don't get me started on the lobster rolls or heavenly goat cheese beet salad. If I ever happen to throw another event in the LA area there is no one else I would use.
I am an alumni of the California institute of Technology (Caltech) and, with the Caltech Alumni Association, we held an event at the Natural History Museum Los Angeles on March 1st. It was important for Caltech alumni, board trustees, and the Caltech community in general (there was an undergrad senior in attendance) to come together as we're not often able to do and to hear Dr. Rosenbaum lay out the vision and direction of Caltech. Catering was provided by Radish & Rose and it was wonderful. The food was a wonder, the staff was very friendly, and their eye for setting up at the event was on point, spot on. I highly recommend Radish & Rose for catering. I enjoyed very much the burrata and fava bean crostini, the grilled-cheese sandwich station, especially the short-rib grilled cheese sandwich, and their dessert at the end - they served something (I should've really asked what the name was) of the consistency of mascarpone with a hazelnut flavor, crunchy toffee on top, and all the freshly whipped cream you'd want to top it with. The after dinner coffee was freshly brewed and done well; bold, rich, dark. I highly recommend Radish & Rose; I would've taken any food leftover in bags if I had no manners at all.
We had Radish & Rose cater our rehearsal-dinner and post-wedding brunch with their drop-off menus and our guests simply LOVED the food. The food is soooo delicious and always beautifully arranged. The drop-off was super easy and their staff was also great to work with. Melissa assisted us on the menus and was super responsive and open for any kind of adjustments we made. Thank you guys for the incredible experience!
My husband and I just got married this past month and we used Radish & Rose for our beautiful indoor/outdoor event. We had a cocktail reception after our ceremony with tray passed appetizers for our guests while we took photos. They were amazing! Lamb meatballs, pumpkin agnolotti, sliders, all things that we chose and loved at our amazing tasting. For our dinner, we chose both beef and a delicious chicken dish that was stuffed. Our sides were delicious roasted veggies and the best part is that everything is local and organic. We chose to have a dessert buffet because we are not cake people and the cookies and hand pies we picked out were out of this world! The service was spectacular everyone was so helpful and courteous. Nicole was top notch and super helpful. They also worked with our budget and the style we wanted. I would use them again for any event, in a heartbeat!
Radish & Rose catered our wedding at The Ruby Street a couple of weeks ago, and they did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone was raving about the food, and the service was excellent. Our Menu: Crostini Station for Appetizers Farmer's Market Table Pumpkin Agnolotti (SO GOOD) Mary’s Chicken Roulade Niman Ranch Braised Brisket Roasted Kale and Sweet Potatoes From the beginning, I told them I was on a budget and they really helped me try and save $$ anywhere I could. Are they cheap? No. Are they worth it? Yes. They're delicious, professional, and passionate about the whole farm to fork experience.
I can't speak highly enough about Radish & Rose. From the moment we began planning our initial menu to meeting with Melissa for the first time at our venue, my fiancé and I knew we were making the right choice with them. Not only did they deliver fantastic food to 225 of our guests but they went above and beyond throughout the planning stages of the wedding itself, helping us coordinate with our rental company and making any necessary changes we needed along the way. The food is delicious. My fiancé is a great cook, and one thing we share is an appreciation for simple, well-prepared meals. When it came time to choose our mains, we stuck with the staples -- port wine and star anise braised beef short ribs, roasted Mary’s airline chicken with caper berries, lemon zest and parsley, and a handmade wild mushroom ravioli. All delicious. I can say that not just because we sampled them all at our tasting, but because my fiancé and I actually sat down and ATE during our wedding. Did we miss a few photo opps? Perhaps. But it was worth it. The food was that good. They even delivered a sampling of appetizers and martinis to our little guest house hideaway after the ceremony so we could have a snack before all the craziness with our guests. I could carry on, but you probably get the picture. The food and service at our wedding was impeccable, and the day went off without a hitch. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Melissa, Michael, Tony and your awesome team for making it happen.
