Radish & Rose was my one stop place for every detail, major or minor, in planning my wedding. They designed, catered and serviced my rehearsal dinner, wedding and post wedding brunch. They were also able to accommodate my need for additional tables, dishes, and stemware at our brunch which we hosted at our home the day after the wedding. We met with Ariana, sat down and planned the wedding weekend from the menu, to all that would be needed in detail. Every staff member was completely professional and totally committed to making our plans as carefree for us as possible. They appeared on time and carried out their duties perfectly. If you need someone to handle the party guests as we did ask for Michael. Furthermore the food prepared was very good. Tasty and flavorful that resulted in us receiving numerous positive comments from our guests. Permit me to share with you some of the food items we selected. Crabmeat Martinis - this selection took the top award for the food Louisiana Orange Wine Poached Chicken Shrimp & Bacon Mac N' Cheese Black & White Sesame Crusted Saku Block Tuna Fried Brussel Sprouts Oyster Rockefeller Dip Cajun "Caviar" (vegan) Petite Sweets - none were left for the next day, they were that good. At the end of every event the food that was still around was saved and the tables and everything else were removed and we just sat back and watch the proceedings. This is the business we will have arrange all of our entertainment and events in the future. The planning, staff, equipment, service and the food makes that an easy choice. Radish & Rose has my Seal of Approval!
I would give Radish & Rose, and specifically Ariana, ten stars if I could. They were EXCEPTIONAL, and the food, project management by Christina, and effort put in by the entire staff was duly noted - not only from me (who's tough to impress!) but from my now husband and every single one of our guests. I cannot rave enough about the food: all of our guests said it was the highlight and the best wedding food they've ever had - and coming from a crowd of folks from New York, Boston, LA, and Chicago who know fine dining, that is not said lightly. Ariana was involved with my wedding planning from day one, and she was so easy to work with; she really doesn't miss a beat. I'm a project manager myself, and I told my husband following our first Radish & Rose meeting that I'd totally hire her! She's amiable, organized, efficient and knows great food. I wasn't at all impressed with my wedding coordinator - if I could go back, I wouldn't have paid the money to Radish & Rose and simply relied on them totally and Ariana. I had my wedding at the Natural History Museum and they made the room even more beautiful - and really had the very best recommendations when it came to table layout, linens, passed apps etc. I'd like to reiterate that I don't typically give glowing reviews and am a bit of a pain in the you know where - but I cannot say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about Radish & Rose. You won't be disappointed if you hire them.
Radish & Rose and their entire team was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. Our primary contact was Michael and he was great. He was fantastic at organizing everything so I didn't have to worry about day-of coordination. Michael also was super responsive to all of my questions and concerns and really just made the whole day seamless. Things I loved: 1) The food was FANTASTIC. They were so good at working with us to create a delicious menu that would satisfy most of our guests and were very willing to create a side option for the vegans and vegetarians among our guests. Everyone told us multiple times how fantastic the food was. 2) Day-of coordination was on point. I never had to deal with any of the behind the scenes stuff the day of. I simply gave Arianas contact info to the various vendors and Radish & Rose handled it all. 3) Use of my materials: I created signs and placecards on my own. This meant we had to drop it off the day of. I sent Michael an email beforehand stating what was being dropped off and where I wanted it. Given how busy we were that day, my bridesmaids literally just dropped it off and then hurried back for photos w/o checking to make sure they knew what to do with it, so I was very happy that everything was exactly how I had hoped when we arrived. 4) Bartenders/alcohol: We had requested a few fancy signature cocktails for our guests and they made sure that the bartenders knew how to make them and that they were made right (i.e. the mojitos were from scratch, not a mix). 5) Staff in general. The serving staff were excellent. They were really good at making sure the line for food kept moving and didn't get too crowded. They handled everyone's dietary restrictions well and were wonderful about serving champagne, wine, drinks, etc, whenever it was needed. Start to finish, Radish & Rose was fantastic and I would use them again in a hearbeat. Next time we throw a big bash we will definitely be in touch!
We were on the hunt for a caterer for our wedding, and I believe I reached out to every caterer in Los Angeles. And then, I reached out to Radish & Rose. I reached out to them and almost instantaneously I knew they were our caterer. Most other caterers led the conversation with budget questions, but Christine simply asked us what our favorite foods were. From there, they created a menu for us based on what we loved to eat the most (and we had some specific requests, namely my now-husband wanted "fancy fried chicken"). When it came time to discuss budget, they presented us several options (none of which made gasp or weep) and ways in which we could adapt and tweak accordingly. They had myself, my now-husband and my family in for a dinner after-hours in the shop, and it was just spectacular. It was most certainly above and beyond any "wedding food" we've ever had, a lovely meal chock-full of everything I love the most. From that point on, we signed on the dotted line and Christine and her team just cranked up the awesome. They pulled out all the stops, not only with the menu but with the rentals, the recommendations, the venue limitations. Everyone we worked with was calming, patient, wonderful, and on top of every aspect of our day. And on that wedding day of ours, everything was executed perfectly. The staff was phenomenal and professional and went above and beyond their duties. The rentals were perfect and the setup was seamless. The food - well the food was freaking great. The fried chicken was oh so fancy, and the amazing tiny snacks (talking grilled cheese, oyster shooters, ramp flatbread and many more) are still being discussed by family and friends. Some people say you rarely get a chance to eat at your own wedding, but I will never (and did not) miss an opportunity to eat anything and everything they served, at my own wedding or anywhere. So if you use them for your caterer - which you absolutely should - you might need to watch out for me. ;) A big thank you to Christine, Nicole and the whole team for everything. I shall rave about them forever.
Radish & Rose Events gave me the wedding of my dreams! Geraldine was incredibly accommodating and truly bent over backwards to make everything happen. Numerous guests told me that my wedding was the most fun one they've been to, and many marveled at how smooth everything went. We got compliments on the food, the cake, the desserts. I wanted lawn games and bubble tea during my cocktail hour and Barbara made it happen without a hitch! The DJ was one of my favorite parts of the whole night, and it helped that he was an automatic booking with Radish & Rose. Chef Bianca and her staff are so organized and so responsive, especially in the last crazy days of wedding planning. She was also very calm in dealing with my nerves. I changed my mind on a lot of things and she was very gracious in handling this. When I hold any other events, I'd definitely use Radish & Rose again!
There is a reason this company has 5 stars. They gained me as a customer for their service and promptness in returning phone calls/emails. They worked with my budget and were willing to create a menu based off of my vision/event. I've used them a few times now and they will forever be my go to caterer. The food is EXCELLENT and the service is beyond compare. You don't see that quite often in Los Angeles. Love Radish & Rose Also, whatever you do, order the mini chicken and waffle cones!!!. They are AMAZING!
Radish & Rose is incredible! We partnered with them for our March 2018 wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made in planning. Ariana and Ally were super easy to work with and actually made wedding planning fun! They were extremely accessible throughout the planning process and helped guide us to plan the most incredible night. We had our wedding at a 'raw space' and I was a bit intimidated at first knowing I would have to bring in all vendors and items, that worry went away the second we met with Radish &Rose. They helped us with coordinating the night, gave us recommendations for florists, photographers, rentals etc. We were so happy to have found them! ALL This was even before we tasted their food! Where do I begin with the food! They crafted a custom menu for us with our guests and preferences in mind, every single guest said how delicious the food was and the quantity was impressive! The wedding night went off without a hitch, we felt so comfortable with Ally there taking care of all coordination. The day of we were able to completely relax and enjoy the moment because we were so confident in their team. Their staff for the night was also very impressive, super courteous and made every guest feel super special. I could go on and on about how much we adore them. On top of their high quality service and professionalism - Ariana and the entire staff at Radish & Rose are the sweetest people, we loved meeting with them and I was so happy that they were a part of our big day. Don't look any further and hire Radish & Rose immediately!
We hired Radish and Rose for our small 75 guest wedding reception in June 2012. We wanted a cocktail party-style reception. Jennifer at R&R was very responsive to our questions and requests; she worked with us to find the right menu for our party, optimizing taste, variety, and price. At the reception, our guests raved about the food. The staff (2 chefs, 3 servers, and 2 bartender) was friendly and professional and went out of their way to help us. When we arrived at the reception, we realized we forgot our ipod for the background music. Jennifer, kindly let us use her phone with Pandora radio to access Sinatra music. Choose Radish and Rose—it will make your wedding planning easier!
For anyone looking for an amazingly talented, caring, and professional catering team, look no further than Radish & Rose. Michael and Ariana were absolute superstars throughout the entire planning process for our Malibu wedding and from the first conversations with each of them, I knew they loved the work that they do and they were going to be great to work with. Throughout the planning process, both provided amazing ideas and suggestions that were based on our vision of the day and they were incredibly helpful in providing the professional expertise on the flow of the day. They showed flexibility and welcomed our ideas and really helped us think through the details so the day went off without a hitch. The food and presentation the day of was even better than we could have hoped! Our tasting with Michael was wonderful so we knew that the menu was going to be tasty but we were blown away at how delicious everything turned out for our 200+ guests. We weren't sure how the family style service was going to go but we trusted the R&R team and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying their meal! We are receiving compliments about the food and service months after our wedding, and I always give credit to Michael and Ariana for that! Alley, who we hired from Radish for our day of coordination was incredibly supportive and organized, and walked us through the schedule multiple times to make sure all the details were covered. My wedding party and my families enjoyed working with her the day of and I knew that I wouldn't have to worry about any details because Alley had it covered. I highly recommend the Radish & Rose team for any event and you will be in great hands!
Radish & Rose was recommended to me when I decided to try something new for our Monday/Wednesday catered lunches for our office of 50. I will keep it brief and to the point, it was just as delicious as I'd heard but there were factors just as important as the taste that I feel they should be commended for as a business: Ariana was the person I spoke to when I called. When I told her the menu was a bit much and I wanted some suggestions quickly she not only did it but had it to me when she said she would. For someone like me on limited time I can't speak enough about how important that is. -The delivery was ON TIME, if not five minutes early AND with our metered pain-in-the-butt parking in front. Are you kidding me? BONUS! -The setup and extra little touches impressed everyone in this office and we have seen ten years of catered lunches. It's the small stuff that matters which is why I wanted to write this review. We had ENGINEERS taking photos of the table. Not foodies! I can't wait to use them again and for my next big event. Thank you Ariana for a job well done!
My husband and I hired Radish & Rose to cater our wedding a few weeks ago, they went above and beyond our expectations (which were already very high). It was very easy to communicate with Ariana from the beginning and she was very patient as we worked out the details of our wedding. She was also very understanding of our budget, which can be rare in the wedding industry. We were able to meet both Ariana and Chef Bianca, for a tasting and the food was even better than we imagined. Everyone at Radish and Rose was incredibly down to earth and we enjoyed chatting with them as we enjoyed all of their delectable samples. As someone that loves food, I can honestly say that Radish & Rose is superlative. The day of the wedding was just magical, the tabes and buffet we so beautiful. Everything is just as I had imagined and everything was done with such care, I’m starting to cry just thinking about that day! Our guests are still raving about it and I have a feeling they will be for years to come.
We love the Radish & Rose team 100 times more after the wedding then before if it’s even possible. 1st - I spent zero time on my wedding day stressed about how the venue setup was coming along and was able to enjoy time with my ladies getting dolled up. Amanda my event specialist was always available when we needed and constantly reassured up until the moment the event started. 2nd - We went with an unconventional wedding with food stations, limited seating & a funky layout. They transformed the space into an ethereal wonderland. 3rd - the food! OMG don't get me started on the lobster rolls or heavenly goat cheese beet salad. If I ever happen to throw another event in the LA area there is no one else I would use.
I am an alumni of the California institute of Technology (Caltech) and, with the Caltech Alumni Association, we held an event at the Natural History Museum Los Angeles on March 1st. It was important for Caltech alumni, board trustees, and the Caltech community in general (there was an undergrad senior in attendance) to come together as we're not often able to do and to hear Dr. Rosenbaum lay out the vision and direction of Caltech. Catering was provided by Radish & Rose and it was wonderful. The food was a wonder, the staff was very friendly, and their eye for setting up at the event was on point, spot on. I highly recommend Radish & Rose for catering. I enjoyed very much the burrata and fava bean crostini, the grilled-cheese sandwich station, especially the short-rib grilled cheese sandwich, and their dessert at the end - they served something (I should've really asked what the name was) of the consistency of mascarpone with a hazelnut flavor, crunchy toffee on top, and all the freshly whipped cream you'd want to top it with. The after dinner coffee was freshly brewed and done well; bold, rich, dark. I highly recommend Radish & Rose; I would've taken any food leftover in bags if I had no manners at all.
We had Radish & Rose cater our rehearsal-dinner and post-wedding brunch with their drop-off menus and our guests simply LOVED the food. The food is soooo delicious and always beautifully arranged. The drop-off was super easy and their staff was also great to work with. Melissa assisted us on the menus and was super responsive and open for any kind of adjustments we made. Thank you guys for the incredible experience!
My husband and I just got married this past month and we used Radish & Rose for our beautiful indoor/outdoor event. We had a cocktail reception after our ceremony with tray passed appetizers for our guests while we took photos. They were amazing! Lamb meatballs, pumpkin agnolotti, sliders, all things that we chose and loved at our amazing tasting. For our dinner, we chose both beef and a delicious chicken dish that was stuffed. Our sides were delicious roasted veggies and the best part is that everything is local and organic. We chose to have a dessert buffet because we are not cake people and the cookies and hand pies we picked out were out of this world! The service was spectacular everyone was so helpful and courteous. Nicole was top notch and super helpful. They also worked with our budget and the style we wanted. I would use them again for any event, in a heartbeat!
Radish & Rose catered our wedding at The Ruby Street a couple of weeks ago, and they did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone was raving about the food, and the service was excellent. Our Menu: Crostini Station for Appetizers Farmer's Market Table Pumpkin Agnolotti (SO GOOD) Mary’s Chicken Roulade Niman Ranch Braised Brisket Roasted Kale and Sweet Potatoes From the beginning, I told them I was on a budget and they really helped me try and save $$ anywhere I could. Are they cheap? No. Are they worth it? Yes. They're delicious, professional, and passionate about the whole farm to fork experience.
I can't speak highly enough about Radish & Rose. From the moment we began planning our initial menu to meeting with Melissa for the first time at our venue, my fiancé and I knew we were making the right choice with them. Not only did they deliver fantastic food to 225 of our guests but they went above and beyond throughout the planning stages of the wedding itself, helping us coordinate with our rental company and making any necessary changes we needed along the way. The food is delicious. My fiancé is a great cook, and one thing we share is an appreciation for simple, well-prepared meals. When it came time to choose our mains, we stuck with the staples -- port wine and star anise braised beef short ribs, roasted Mary’s airline chicken with caper berries, lemon zest and parsley, and a handmade wild mushroom ravioli. All delicious. I can say that not just because we sampled them all at our tasting, but because my fiancé and I actually sat down and ATE during our wedding. Did we miss a few photo opps? Perhaps. But it was worth it. The food was that good. They even delivered a sampling of appetizers and martinis to our little guest house hideaway after the ceremony so we could have a snack before all the craziness with our guests. I could carry on, but you probably get the picture. The food and service at our wedding was impeccable, and the day went off without a hitch. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Melissa, Michael, Tony and your awesome team for making it happen.
