DPH Sound started as the dream of a 17 year old boy with naught but some funky old recording equipment and a desire to make awesome concerts. By 18 he got his wish. Selling his car, (counter intuitive, I know,) He purchased a pair of speakers and set them up with some borrowed equipment to do a series of concerts at a local “venue” Making a whopping $40 a night. Yon 18 year old, now successful business man, had finally arrived. In 2009 the real break for DPH Sound came. The owner became friends with a lighting designer. They put together a package of sound and lighting for a local concert series and the true dream was born. It became apparent very quickly that this team of people could truly accomplish something together. 2012 was a year for faith. Jumping out on a limb, DPH purchased: stage decks, line arrays, and some large scale moving lights. Finally the desire to make awesome concerts had become a reality. The people that work at DPH Sound and Lighting don’t work there for the money. It is a labor of love. We are passionate about concerts and events and strive to make each one as amazing as possible regardless of the budget.
