Events serving alcohol All events that involve serving alcohol require extra work and time prior to event (and remember OLCC does not allow you to sell alcohol in any way!). You’ll need to prepare as much as 6 six weeks prior to the event! First you will need insurance! A liquor license insurance policy in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000) naming (1) Waluga Lodge as the primary insured, and (2) the Grand Lodge of Oregon (our separate parent body), as additional insured. You can check with your insurance representative to see if they can extend your business, home, or rental insurance to cover this. You can also use anyone of many online event insurers (Google ‘online event insurance’). Next you need a third party server. You must hire and use a licensed and insured third party server of alcoholic beverages, at your sole cost and expense. If you are using a caterer, they can help you with this. If not, we highly recommend using the Wait Staff Team (see below). The can really make your event a big success, PLUS YOU SAVE $400! If you use someone else, you’ll need to have severer present valid OLCC servers license with insurance 31 days before event, so we can get it to our parent body. The professional server and you will be jointly and severally liable, together with the person signing this Agreement, will be responsible… No one associated with Waluga Lodge or Oregon Grand Lodge! Waluga Lodge is affordable, elegant and beautiful. Tours of the facility are available by appointment, Call us at (503) 636 - 1036 ext. #1 for availability!
