The Coral House is a beautiful catering hall located in Baldwin, NY. It's only about 45-60 minutes from Manhattan and about a half hour LIRR ride from Penn. All of the catering hall rooms overlook a lake located in the back. Weddings can be taken place around the lake if you desire. There are several rooms to choose from; anywhere from a small room to the grand ball room. I've always enjoyed the rooftop "room". It overlooks the lake and at night it covered with trees and is quite a sight. During the holidays, the entire catering hall is beautifully light with white lights and wreaths all around. Parking is very easy. There is a parking lot located across the street as well as a parking lot located on the street corner. If you choose to have an overnight wedding party, Baldwin is about 15 minutes away from Long Beach which has many 3-4 star hotels for you to choose from. I've attended many events at this catering hall that range from small parties to grand socials as well as weddings and my own personal engagement party. The Coral House is such an amazing catering hall, that despite my move to South Carolina in January, We are still going to have our wedding there. My parents were married there and had nothing but nice things to say. And they are still talking about it. I would recommend this hall to anybody that wants a worry free event.

I have been to more than one wedding at the coral and it was wonderful each time. My parents originally got married there (of course I was not born yet) but they always told me it was great. However, my aunt, my sister, and one of my best friends got married there and it really was incredible service. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even though they all have been a part of many, many weddings before, they made sure they were just as enthusiastic about the one they were working for. So when the day came for me to get married, I did not have to think twice about where I went.

I had my wedding there and left very satisfied. The hall is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. We met with two managers and they were very helpful in all aspects of planning the wedding. Julie, the matre'd was with us every step of the way and was very pleasant. Our personal waiter, JT was one of the nicest and attentive people I have ever met. The food is delicious. We planned to have our ceremony outside by the lake and it started raining. They moved everything inside in no time and even turned on the fireplace for a more cozy atmosphere. They helped us pick the officiant and plan the ceremony as well. They subcontract their own officiants, making the prices much lower than usual. The food was absolutely delicious and seconds were available at no extra charge. They threw in table and chair covers which are normally not free and gave us additional discounts, besides the fact that their prices are already lower than all the other places we looked at. Once again, for the price we paid, they really outdid themselves!
