About Zembo Shrine

The Zembo Shrine, designed by architect Charles Howard Lloyd in 1929, is truly an example of unique Harrisburg architecture. Located across from Italian Lake, the Shrine is an impressive structure designed in “the spirit of the North African styles”. The interior design includes examples of beautiful Moroccan influenced arches, chandeliers and ornate hand-painted motifs. Available For: banquets & fundraisers, weddings & receptions, concerts, trade shows, sporting events , proms & graduations, etc. Building Tours by Appointment.
