This historically-rich, recently-renovated upscale facility features a clean, open plan with a floating bamboo floor throughout, elevated stage/seating area in the large studio space, comfortable couches throughout, original exposed brick walls, charming painted bamboo pillars, hand-painted Buddhist scrolls (tankas) and natural light from large windows front and back. The Tao Te Cafe Tea House features high mountain teas along with beer, wine, bubbly, sake-tails and poke bowls served from a hand-made, live-edge walnut bar with locally sourced manzanita accents. The Tea house is open to the public Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00pm. Happy hour Wednesday and Thursday 5:00-6:00pm. Poke bowls served on Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00-9:00pm. Tao Te Cafe is perfect for day or evening events such as meetings, gatherings, conferences and celebrations by organizations and individuals aligned with the health and harmony-focused mission and vision of our non-profit Lifelong Health Inc. The 3,200 sq.ft. studio and cafe are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Occupancy is 132 people. Lower Level is wheel-chair accessible by ramp from the back parking lot.
