Hatheway Cultural Center hosts performers, entertainers and educators from all over the world, including the National Band of New Zealand, Phoenix Boys Choir, the U.S. Navy Commodores and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. The St. Louis Ballet Company has performed here frequently, along with numerous regional dance studios. Dramatic works and musical such as "The Crucible," "Bitterroot" and "Kiss Me Kate" have also been staged here.
In addition to national and international performers, we showcase high school, collegiate, and community musical ensembles, and serve as a venue for community events, such as the Cooking Show, which takes place annually on the stage of Ann Whitney Olin Theatre.
Since the building's renovation and re-dedication in 2011, we have added a multipurpose room (formerly a gymnasium) that is available to rent for wedding receptions and a variety of other events.
Tours of this space are available by appointment. Please contact the Campus events coordinator to schedule today!
