Opened in 1990, the Center for the Arts plays a key role in the cultural vitality of the Washington Metropolitan region, attracting more than 100,000 patrons to performances annually. The Center for the Arts Concert Hall is a technically adaptable venue. Each year it houses operas, symphony orchestra concerts, theatre productions, dance performances, global performances, and much more.
The Center for the Arts Lobby is an artistic setting with a unique layout for a multitude of events. Lit naturally during the day, it provides an inviting setting for smaller seated receptions, larger standing receptions, or for conference exhibits.
