Valter's at the Maennerchor

976 S High St Columbus, OH
614-444-3531
Max Capacity: 120 people
The Columbus Maennerchor was founded in 1848 as a men's chorus by 12 German immigrants eager to preserve the music and memories of their homeland, here; in the chosen land. Through the years, a women's chorus, Damenchor and a children's chorus, Kinderchor have been added. Valter's at the Maennerchor was founded by Valter Veliu, whose cooking and management style won over Werner Niehaus, president of the Maennerchor's board of directors. It is a casual German restaurant with Old World trappings and a modern menu located in the heritage house, also nicknamed the Dutch House.
