A true Central Florida landmark, the historic Cocoa Beach Pier at Cocoa Beach, Florida, was built by the Stottler family in 1962 and over the years has evolved into an iconic beach destination for families. The world-famous Pier, which draws more than one million visitors annually, spans 800 feet in length and is currently home to five restaurants and bars, along with several gift shops. In the spring of 2014, David Siegel, President and CEO of Westgate Resorts, and longtime business associate Jim Gissy purchased the Cocoa Beach Pier from the Stottler family with plans to renovate the pier and make it the premier family dining and entertainment destination for the Central Florida/Cocoa Beach community. Both men have strong ties to the Central Florida region and look forward to continuing and enhancing the wonderful traditions of the Cocoa Beach Pier.
